Medardo Rosso Study Day

CIMA is pleased to present a Study Day on Medardo Rosso, the subject of the foundation's 2014-15 season. Acclaimed for his radical approaches to material, subject, and form, Rosso (1858-1928) was an artist who focused intently on process and was involved in every aspect of the creation of his works. This program offers the opportunity to explore various facets of the artist's career and practice, focusing in particular on his experimental photographic practice and on his relations with his French contemporaries, especially Rodin and Degas.
